CurlON Member Clubs can learn about policy development and the steps to take to ensure that your club is providing a safe sport environment to your members. Presented by LeeAnn Cupidio, this webinar will focus on Rowan’s Law and the relevant concussion policies/plans you should have in place at your club, as well as the importance of having a robust set of Discipline Policies that set out the expected behaviour of your members as well as granting you the necessary authority to deal with any “unruly” members you may have.
LeeAnn Cupidio is a lawyer with the Sport Law & Strategy Group who specializes in the areas of legal compliance, complaint/conflict management and workplace harassment. She has served as investigator, mediator and counsel in many sport-related disputes and acts as a case manager to sport organizations who choose to outsource their internal disputes. LeeAnn is certified in Workplace Investigations by the Human Resources Professionals Association and has conducted numerous bullying and harassment investigations on behalf of National, Provincial and Local sport organizations.
