This is a FREE webinar for Ontario Curling Club Members. The first in a six-part webinar series aimed at providing operational support to staff and volunteers in the community curling club environment. Presented by CurlON’s Business of Curling Program, Ontario club operators receive this instruction from industry leaders FREE as part of CurlON’s business commitment in providing more benefits to our membership.
Curling clubs can be faced with a crisis or emergency at any time and how they prepare for, and respond to, these critical moments may have a significant impact on their organization. In this hour-long webinar Dina Bell-Laroche and Jason Robinson will discuss the tools and the risk mitigation strategies that clubs can implement to combat various types of crises and emergencies, the key steps to managing them as they occur, and how an organization and its members can heal when they are deeply affected. Real life examples and a great deal of expertise will help your club improve its readiness and confidence during difficult times.
Jason Robinson is a seasoned sport executive and Associate with the Sport Law & Strategy Group, who specializes in sponsorship and event risk management. Returning to the CurlON Webinar Series for a third time, Jason has previously present a complete BYLAWS PACKAGE as well as CLUB RISK MANAGEMENT: ORGANIZATIONAL & EVENT HOSTING for the CurlON Membership. He is well-known for hosting world-class events with a strong focus on the attention to detail and the athlete experience. Jason has conducted risk management audits for various sport organizations and large event companies, and also assists organizations with developing and enhancing successful marketing plans, fundraising initiatives, and strategic partnerships.
Dina Bell-Laroche Integral Master Coach TM Dina is an Integral Master Coach with Integral Coaching Canada TM and is also certified with the International Coach Federation. She has been working in sport for over 25 years as an executive director, communications specialist, and sport consultant. She is the co-owner of the Sport Law & Strategy Group, the go to place for Canadian sport leaders looking for strategic insight in the areas of the law, communications, governance, Integral Coaching TM , and risk management. Through her work, Dina works with sport leaders, coaches and athletes to enhance their leadership capacity, emotional intelligence, and presence.
Dina has been part of a dozen international events including 5 Olympic Games and 3 Pan-American Games. When she is not working to contribute to the betterment of sport, Dina volunteers her time with SchoolBOX, the West Ottawa Soccer Club, the Bridlewood Community Association, and Tracy’s Hope Legacy Fund.
