HAHN, Joseph – Of Brantford, formerly of Delhi and Grimsby, passed away suddenly at the Brantford General Hospital on Monday, August 21, 2017 in his 67th year. Joe was a Member with the Delhi District German Home. He was a former superintendent with the Delhi Golf & Country Club, and was a devoted Ice Technician for the Ontario Curling Association for many years. Joe was very active in the local sports community, with curling and coaching baseball. Loving father of Bryan Hahn (Heather), Jason Hahn and their mother, Betty (Dertinger) Hahn. Cherished grandfather of Eryn Hahn. Dearest brother of Frank Hahn (Natalie) and their daughter Anna, and Kathy Gort (Larry) and their daughter Barbie. Also survived by several aunts, uncles & cousins. Predeceased by his Parents: Adam (1957) & Barbara Hahn (2014). Friends may call at the MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, Delhi (519) 582-1290 for visitation on Wednesday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs Roman Catholic Church, Delhi on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Lucio X. Couto officiating. Interment in Delhi Cemetery. Donations to the Brant Community Healthcare System Foundation or to the Camp Trillium/Rainbow Lake will be gratefully appreciated by the family.
