As curling clubs bustle in the chilly fall months, the Ontario Curling Association is proud to announce that, effective today, the lead organization for curling in Ontario is now CurlON.
“We are excited to announce the new name and brand, reflecting an exciting time in the sport in Ontario,” said Stephen Chenier, Executive Director, “CurlON represents the spirit of the game and our desire to grow excitement and participation in curling clubs across the province.”
The new name comes along with a new logo – depicting CurlON with a set of curling rings – representing the new direction of curling in Ontario.
In 2016-17 and beyond, CurlON will continue to recognize and support both recreational and competitive curlers in Ontario. CurlON governs 193 member clubs and 10 provincial championships annually.
